Description

Numerical Smart Automation Module (Sam 1-N) ** – is a communication solution between compatible GYS welding powersources and most PLCs/robots. SAM converts the language of communication «GIN» (GYS Internal Network) in machine language for a complete management of automats/robots. Designed to operate without any modification of its code, even when changing welding process and communication network, the SAM-1N module has a plug and play operation for simple installation.

2. ModbusTCP
3. ProfiNET
4. EtherCAT
5. DeviceNET
6. CANopen

3 OPERATING MODES

1. JOB mode: allows the call of pre-recorded programs with possible interactions.
2. PARAMETER mode: allows to control the powersource with all parameters (up to 170 parameters)
3. TRACKING mode: allows real-time control of the source (depending on the machine).

MODULARITY

The generator/SAM-1N assembly can be reassigned to a new system without modifying it (integration into a new machine, replacement of a PLC or robot, automation of a process, etc).

HARDWARE COMPATIBILITY

The module provides access to almost all the parameters of the welding generator, allowing total
control of the process by the PLC or the robot.

• TIG PROCESS: TITAN 400 DC / TITANIUM 400 AC/DC
• MIG/MAG PROCESS: NEOPULSE 320C / 400 G / 500 G

INTEGRATION SUPPORT

The integrator can use a mapping file, making installation easier on the following robots*:

• Automatons: Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, Proface, etc.
• Robots : Yaskawa, Fanuc, Kuka, ABB, Universal Robots, etc
