Description

ProGYS 183E – Equipped with the latest electronic technology and designed to be robust and durable, the PROGYS 183 E will deliver professional welding results on steel, cast iron and stainless steel up to 10 mm. It is designed to perform 3 types of welding process MMA, Pulse MMA and LIFT TIG. The very soft fusion point ensures a perfect finish.

3 WELDING MODES

MMA : Weld with great facility most types of coated electrodes : steel (rutile and basic), stainless steel and cast-iron (up to Ø 4.0 mm).
MMA PULSE : For ascending vertical welding.
TIG Lift : For precise work on thin sheets.

WELDING FEATURES

Hot Start (adjustable) :
Adjustable higher amperage when the electrode first comes into contact with the metal. Prevents the electrode from sticking when the metal or the electrode are cold.

Arc Force :
Increases the amperage when required to keep the arc stable.

Antisticking :
Prevents the electrode from sticking when in contact with the metal.

MMA Pulse (adjustable) :
Ideal for ascending vertical welding.
Optional frequency adjustment.

TIG Lift (adjustable) :
Easier start to ensure perfect quality welding bead.
A simple movement of the wrist starts the automatic downslope to ensure a smooth and clean welding finish.

PROTECTIONS

Optimised machine cooling with thermal protection.
2 different fan cooling speed options to choose from (during welding or not).
Protected against overcurrent.
Compatible with generators.

ULTRA PORTABLE

Very light generator (4.9 kg).
With its reduced volume (14x19x38 cm), it fits everywhere (shelf, trolley, etc.)
The handle makes transport easy.
